The Story
From the front desk to building the future
In 2006 he was answering phones and booking patients at a clinic in Ahmedabad. He qualified in dentistry in 2014, opened his own studio in 2017, and spent the years after that split between the chair and the back office — hospital administration, an MBA, then three years incubated at IIPHG Technology Business Incubator and Venture Center working on dental instruments and AI.
In 2023 he moved to Australia. He completed an Advanced Master of Public Health at Torrens University in January 2025, majoring in Digital Health, with an A+ average. He now manages a surgical practice in Ballarat and builds Loupes.ai — AI for the parts of dentistry that software still ignores.
Three filings with IP India. Eight papers and studies. Fifteen certifications. Six languages. One question underneath all of it: why is the clinic the last place technology arrives?
Origin
The kitchen that paid for a master's degree
In 2023, months after his mother died, the family arrived in Australia and started again. No local trading history, no network, very little capital.
So they started with what the family already knew how to do. His sister, an Australian citizen, opened her kitchen. His wife — an anaesthetist by training — and his sister cooked. His cousin, professionally trained in cookery, ran production. Wajid took the part nobody else wanted: registration and compliance, suppliers, costing, packaging, listings and the advertising.
The entire marketing budget was two thousand dollars on Meta.
Inside two years Samosa Near Me had grown past six figures — and it paid his Master of Public Health fees.
None of the other work stopped. Across the same two years he was granted the AI implant placement patent, filed three more applications, carried the osteotome device and bone graft into trial, and built the first version of Loupes.ai. A lab bench and a kitchen bench, at the same time.
